What is it?
A: ClinicWeb is an affordable, fully integrated
software system specifically designed for the addictions
treatment industry. It is web-based, totally secure, and
easily incorporated into the systems management of both
large or small methadone clinics.
Q: How long has in been in existence
and who is using it?
A: Development of ClinicWeb began
in 1999. It was first used at Montgomery Recovery Services,
Inc. In Rockville, Maryland. Today, clinics in Maryland,
Texas and Utah have integrated ClinicWeb into their daily
operations.
Q: What, specifically, can
ClinicWeb handle?
A: ClinicWeb can track your client base, client histories
and profiles, demographics, dosages, absences, financial
histories, and all aspects of your clinic’s record-keeping.
And that’s just for starters. ClinicWeb can also
handle regularly scheduled events such as annual TB testing
and randomly scheduled events such as urinalysis.
Q: Won’t setting up ClinicWeb
disturb my clinic’s operations?
A: No. ClinicWeb is easy to set up and easy to maintain.
We will train you and your staff, and we provide round-the-clock
technical support.
Q: Do I need special hardware or software?
A: No. You can run ClinicWeb on either your server or
ours. ClinicWeb makes use of proven Microsoft technologies,
aand will run on any workstation using Internet Explorer
5.0 or higher on a monitor with a resolution of 1024 x
768 or higher.
Q: Is it secure?
A: Totally. Using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), all ClinicWeb
data transmitted over the Internet is encrypted with 128-bit
encryption technology. In other words, the only persons
who can read the information are authorized individuals
who log on with a password. The database itself is secure
and password protected. The information on remotely hosted
servers is physically secure at our data center. The data
is backed up daily by tape and surveillance cameras monitor
the location twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Q: Can I customize ClinicWeb to meet my clinic’s
needs?
A: Yes. Our staff can customize applications designed
specifically for you, or you can use the extensive built-in
capabilities of the software to design application features
that meet your needs. ClinicWeb also has many user customizable
features. Your clinic’s system administrator can
modify both drop down menu items and a dynamic security
matrix.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: A lot less than you’d think. Costs are scalable,
but the basic package can be had for the price of a workstation.
Q: How long would it take to set
up?
A: Treatment Software Solutions staff will conduct a survey
of your facility’s needs and determine the level
of customization you want and what type of hardware you
need. Once we have determined your exact requirements,
implementation and installation can be completed in two
to four weeks.
Q: Isn’t ClinicWeb designed for larger operations
than mine?
A: No. No matter how small or large your clinic, ClinicWeb
will save you time and money, and allow you to better
